Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) General ****I'm carrying too much and can't drop anything*

Hi All,

I'm playing BD, obviously, and I'm too encumbered. In DD, there was no problem opening up my inventory and getting rid of items on the ground. Now I can't move at all because my stamina's all gone. Before I had gotten to this point, I had tried to drop some items and it kept popping back into my inventory. What can I do now??? Both me and my DK are too loaded down to move. Is there a quick fix or a way I can drop some items. When I try to drop I make sure there isn't a red 'X' and make sure that neither one of them are highlighted. I have the lastest patch installed.
On a side note. I found the pyramid for that one merchant and gave it to him and when I was in the first underground passageways I can across another and when I went to get it, it immediately transported me above ground. How badly did I screw up by not keeping the first and figuring out how to get the second??? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

I had this problem when I tried dropping it on a place where things cannot be dropped on.

Have you tried giving items to the dolls ?

Make sure you do not have the game paused when you are trying to drop stuff.

If you can not summon a doll and off-load a bunch of stuff onto it (anything but quest or unique/set items), try transferring enough weight to one character that the other can move out into a more open area (or just enter the BF).


I don't believe you can give a teleporter stone to a merchant.
There is a fixed teleporter stone in act 1 that you can use but not take, and a set of teleporter stone to find in act 2 (which you keep until the start of act 4).
If you found the first one in act 2, click on the second teleporter stone on the ground (drop and use it if necessary) to teleport back to the pit where the first one was, then click and drag that teleporter stone into your inventory. Use that teleporter without dropping it (either through the secondary skill menu or clicking on it in your inventory) to get back above ground, then pick up that teleporter.

when i found i was so encumbered i couldnt move i immediately transported to the battlefied and clicked on the nearest merchant (one always seems to be in view) and offloaded my goods that way.

no walking required.
