Hi there. I got my copy of DivDiv way back in June 2003, and I happen to think it has excellent replay value, so this is the 3rd or 4th time I've played through. All have been on this computer, and each time I decide to fire it up, I check for new patches first, because you never know what's changed in six months or a year.

So there I am, running around, killing orcs, and trying to remember where to get and solve quests. I drop my little level 14 self down into the sewer entrance in the merchant's area -- near the Ars Magicana -- and do rather a remarkable job of not dying. I kill the thugs and see all the stolen wares and black market things sitting around, and there's Pedro.

Only... he's not trying to kill me.

I opened up some of the chests there, and one set off a wide area trap, that damaged Pedro as well. So there he is, whenever I go back, his clawed hands up in the air in a position of attack, not doing anything. Nothing happens when I go to melee fight him, and nothing happens when I try to use magic attacks on him.

It's hardly a total game-braker if I can't finish this quest series but really, I like to. I pride myself on leaving no quest unfinished when I play through the game. Any suggestions?

Once you find out from Tingalf where his stash is (though he doesn't tell you directly), approaching Perdro will trigger a cutscene conversation, after which he will turn hostile. Just keep following the quest (check your quest log for more details and hints of what to do next).

Yeah... I did hear from Tingalf already, though. I remember getting the cut-scene at the point where I am now (and I did follow your link) before, but it doesn't seem to be working this time.

Ah, well. Thanks anyway.

Did you skim through the link and see if you missed anything? If not, perhaps doing part of the quest too much out of the expected order may have confused the game, or something.
