The animations are pretty bland and not much variety of attack magic...which is something I love.

Well, considering, how old this game already is ... and on which version of directx it builds upon ...

Play Beyond Divinity the magic effects are great.

Yep in Beyond Divinity there are a lot of magic skills for the wizard.
