Alright, so I talked to Trevor, and he told me he rented a house to some dude.
I had already visited the house in question before, and killed the thugs there. Now I can't enter the hatch anymore... I have Lockpick 3 and can't pick the lock either.

Am I doing anything wrong, or is this a bug? If the latter is the case, how do I fix it?

In which version did you start your game? At what part of the game did you update? To which version did you update?

If you get the quest to go to Trevor - he flags the house - you kill the thugs - the hatch should be open. That's the game plot.

I started the game in the original version. Later on, I installed the patch.

I killed the thugs before I talked to Trevor. Perhaps that has anything to do with it?

I don't really get it...

Also, I seem to have drank the exquisite wine the summoner Corrina is asking for. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />
At least I think so. It's not in my inventory, and I did kill the dude that had it (actually, he attacked me).
Is there any way to get it back?

Raze's hex editor, click here

Try this for the house, though I couldn't find the coordinates for the underground hatch.

Wine: Corinna should accept any other wine. I thought, Raze had a fix in his lost items, but couldn't locate it.

You see, Pope, maybe the hex-editor will help you - then you could stumble over another spot to fix and so on...
I'd do it differently: Take my saves from 1.29-1.32 and back them up, delete every 1.33 save.
Make a clean install with 1.29 + 1.34 = load my older saves in there and play. I'm sorry, but I have nothing else to offer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />

Let me know if you need the coordinates of the cellar. If you are not comfortable with hex editing, you can also get in with your teleporter stones, after a little file swapping (I'll have to get an appropriate data file from an old save);

I used this to get back into Nericon's Garden as well.

Can you get me a data.000 file in which your character is in the cellar the hatch leads to?

I am having a problem somewhat similar to Pope's. But my first question is (or should be) where i can get the information that goemoe is in Verdistis. I know this trough the forum, and not by playing. I thougt this might explain why i don't get a speech option with trevor in which i can ask wether someone lately hired a house in verdistis. Apart from that lockpicking lvl 5 doesn't seem to help to open the hatch in the house south of burned out chart. Unlike Pope i started to play this game in version 1.0034.

What should i do? I don't mind trying this hex editor, but up to now, i have no idea how it works.

If you talk to either Otho or Joram in the inn, you will be told Goemoe left. Scrying again will show his location in Verdistis, and Zandalor will suggest talking to Trevor to find out which house it is.
