If anyone has seen the Family Guy movie, you'll know where I got this idea from.

Basically, you make an angry rant about something, and you can make as much or little sense about your opinion on the subject as you like. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

For example:

You know what really grinds my gears?: The bleeping on TV these days.
I mean, they can say all kinds of curse words, like
the lesser-f-word
the b-word
the sh-word
damn
crap
and the list goes on. But there are only two words they cannot say on normal TV. They are 'the f-word', of course, and one other.
They can't say the word balls !!!
Like, if I want to say: "Bob got kicked in the balls!" all you'd hear on TV is: "Bob got kicked in the BEEP!! !
Or, on wrestling for example, they say "You don't have the balls to challenge me!" But on TV, you just hear "You don't have the BEEP!! to challenge me!
Isn't that weird?

I mean, they can say 'nuts' or 'gonades' or any of those worse curse words, but not 'balls'.

If you're gunna let bad words be said on TV, why the heck not that one?
You scared kids are gunna pick it up, but not scared they're gunna start saying: damn! sh**! b****! ? Real thoughtful. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

I hate moving!!! Let that be clear, I hope never to move again.
And I hate very loud noises, like drilling machines, squeeky sounds like a fingernail on a schoolboard and the sound that you make when you crack your fingers brrrrrrr... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

You know what realy grinds my gears: The FCC (also see s5e4 Family Guy). If we have the FCC have their way we will be watching The Dick Van Dyke Show of The **** van **** show after the FCC is done with it.

What I acztually hate are people with two measures : One for themkselves, and one for the rest of the world. It makes me go nuts ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />

why is that?? I ponder .... does this mean that if I want to buy a new car that is for sale at$5.00 I can not offer $4.00 ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

Now first of all I would like to say I am a bit environmental friendly. (saving water, electricity). But there is one restriction that I just have a grudge against. I am talking about watersaving showerheads.

Now When I was young we had a shower. It was a great shower. The moment you stepped in and turned the water on it blasted nearly against the wall by the sheer force of the water. You could feel the water cleaning you. Alas the showerhead broke down and a new one had to be bought. To my disgust and loathing I realised that the new showerhead didn’t have the same force as the old one. With the new one the water trickled down and you no impact on you. You had no feeling that you just took a shower. Now I don’t know if it was an EU rule (I know in the US it’s a law that showerheads can’t consume more then…) but it seems those environmental wackos made it happen that a showerhead can’t process more then xx l/min.

Now I want my old showerhead back that (or one that is more powerfull) realy made you feel showered. I want a showerhead that peels the dead skin of your body. I don’t want a pansy weak shower dribble. I want a shower.

I'm also with you on that one, Morbo. But I was thinking, are you a man or a crybaby? (just kidding) You can do something about that showerhead. Open it very carefully and check inside what is making the water run through so slowly, you might have to use the drill, or something to make a few new holes. Just use your skills if you have some, and you don't have to buy yourself a new showerhead. If I can do it as a girl, you sure can do it!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

You know what really grinds my gears? Ash Ketchum.
With all his pokemons...
The thing is, he's supposed to become the best 'trainer' in the world and he don't even know what the simplest pokemons are!
And his dumb friends and him just repeat the thing's name again and again like its fascinating... I saw my youngest sibling watching a new episode of the show and here's a little scenario that went on:

Ash: Whats that? *flips out his pokedexe*
Pokedexe: Pidgey, the small bird pokemon.
Misty: Wow! A pidgey! Those are really rare!
Ash: Oh boy! I can't wait to catch one!

FYI, pidgey's are not rare and they've seen one on many an occation.

They do that for all kinds of things they've already seen. It's maddening.

This is what I would do if I was the pokedexe:

Ash: Whats that? *Flips me out*
Me: OMG its a fugging pikachu. You know... like the first damn pokemon you ever got. The one sitting on your effing head.
Misty: Wow! A pikachu! Those are really rare!
Me: Did you not hear me?
Ash: Oh boy! A pikachu! I can't wait to catch one!
Me: ... You... you're kidding right?... This is a joke, right?

Me: Uhg... Do I have a self-destruct button?
Ash: Let's catch it! Go pikachu! Weaken the pikachu enough so I can catch it!
Me: Ah here it is... 1183949532. KURBOOM!

You see what I mean. Its disgusting at this point.
So what I have to say to the pokemon characters is:
Grow a damn brain!
You already have or have already seen that dang pokemon and you shouldn't be fascinated by its preasance!
Get rid of Ash!
Get rid of Ash!
Pokemon is old.
Think of something new!
Even the littlest of kids are getting bored of it!
Stick with the RPGs and none els!
...
and that's what grinds my gears.
