Hi, I posted a couple of days ago stating that my characters didn't regain stamina. Now my post has dissappeared???? I don't carry any items that are cursed (I dropped all but nothing worked). Is this the end?? I have used all my food (after rest I DO have my stamina back). What bug is this? Please someone help and don't erase my post please.

there was a crash in the forums and site, they used a backup from a couple of days age

This happened to me once before.... and i remember myself swearing and cursing profusely....
if i remember correctly.... this is what fixed it (not sure which part of it fixed it, but this is what i did...

I dropped all of my items (including weapons and armour that i was wearing) into a chest (i had a chest for every character's stuff, otherwise i would never get it sorted again).

Save the game.

exit Beyond divinity

Try deleting the files in the dynamic folders;
'..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act1\Dynamic', '..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act2\Dynamic', etc.
These folders are used as a cache for the game. Files are created / copied there from the save game folder when you load, and written / copied to those folders when you save a game. The files will be re-created as required the next time you start Beyond Divinity. If there was a corrupt file in those folders, deleting the files should fix the problem.

Run <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> again and load the file... and see if you have your stamina regeneration back.

If your stamina comes back, you can equip your characters again... (but while you do it, be on the lookout for items that can alter that (as you mentioned you didnt notice any cursed/corrupt items, but check none the less, it may save you loads of time and cursing <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> )

Are your characters crouched over and the screen darker than normal? I think maybe during that battle you accidentally switched to sneak mode. Check that your lead character's secondary skill is set to sneak (using the icon by the character's portrait), and then right click on the ground somewhere to return to normal.

A couple people have switched to sneak mode without realizing it, and posted in the forum about no longer being able to run and/or the screen being dark.
