I recieved this e-mail today...
....does this mean DJ won't be involved with DD2, or what's the scoop??

Jurak, after checking the link u provided, it looks like this RVP-Kylotonn is the developer of Bet On Soldier game. so maybe it has nothing to do with DD2 at all. i wonder what he meant by "Digital Jesters has committed a series of breaches of contract". could be something similar to CDV & their lack of DD promo? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I'd say it has something to do with this: Devs slam Digital Jesters.

does this mean, DD2 will be released by an other company then DJ. And maybe a company who does a bit commercial stuff? normally i dont like that, but i would really like DD2 to be a great success

Just out of curiosity: why did you receive this email Jurak? Shouldn't it have been adressed to a member of the Larian team?

But seriously, I'd have assumed this kind of thing would be adressed to a member of Larian, not a member of the forum, 'senior' though he may be.

It must be because i'm subscribed to the DJ newsletter and they must have gotten ahold of their mailing list ........hence the letter in question.......

My guess too. I've received that mail as well, so they probably got DJ's mailing list. Roman specifically asks to publish the press release, so I guess they're assuming we all (still) have websites, somewhat related to DJ.
Let's hope none of this has had any influence on the Larians...

I've asked the management at Digital Jesters about this. I'll keep you informed.

No <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> Talking for my own, not for Larian, but still, we don't need to react on this. That's a matter between DJ and Kylotonn (the developer). DJ wrote in their forums, that they will make an announcement regarding the matter soon.

I agree with you.
This problem does not concern Larian and the Larian fans.
I was bothered by Jurak's post.
At the beginning i did not understand why a Larian fan had received this kind of e-mail.

It seems that the problem between KT the devlopper, and DJ the publisher, is about the support of the game. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />
This problem could not happen between Larian and DJ because Larian has his own support and his own forum. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/XmasJump.gif" alt="" />
