OP PoisonedAcid journeyman P Joined: May 2003	i updated my patch to the latest, and the game woudnt start, i reverted back to the 1.33(?) patch, and all my saves went corrupt <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> now i have to restart my game, and i was just to go to the wastelands <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> life sucks

kiya veteran Joined: Mar 2003 Location: Germany	How did you do it? I started a new game after a clean install (CD-ROM 1.029 + 1.34), loaded my 1.33 saves in there and had no problems. Kiya Have you backed up your saves before in a new folder? Did you check for admin rights before installing? Were all background programs shut off during install?

OP PoisonedAcid journeyman P Joined: May 2003	no i didnt have them in a separate folder, i think they got corrupt with the reverting of the patch, (i got several error messages when trying to revert) ah well i want to try a mage anyways... just that i miss my elven love <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

Kiya If you wish, I can give you my last save before hitting the gong - with a female mage though. If you restart the game - what about a nice clean install before running into problems? I'm just thinking of your error messages... well i though i could just revert by installing the older patch again, well it came several "file cannot be found" messages... nah i dont want that, ill make a new char myself but thanks anyways <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ... yes i uninstalled the game this morning and am just about to install it again
