Hi all

I'm struggling to defeat the woman who you find in a cave after following the gnomes who are stealing items from the elven burial grounds. The problems I have is that I can't defeat all the gnomes who swarm around you as soon as you enter. The sword I use (my best) is the claymore of snow which I like because it freezes the enemy for about 5 seconds whilst doing about 100 damage each time. I used it to defeat the dragon rider in order to get the gem to join the warriors guild

I would like to know how you guys defeated her (if you can remember!) and if you could possibly give me tips, that would be great!

I used a two-hands sword with frost just like you.

If your char is a warrior you can use the special skill of the warrior for making more dammage.
You can drink some strength potions before the fight and life potions during the fight.
You can use steel scorpions.
And you can search in the forum with the word "Josephina", there are a lot of great topics about how defeating Josephina.

for this one it is particularly useful to have poison weapon, kill a gnome then go back to the level above, so on a nd so forth till there are none left. Remember to autosave between each one cos you could die in the attempt. For Josephine, If you manage to get her stuck behind the far pillar, her spike trap becomes useless, and your poisoned weapon kills her quickly...

I wait until I have a weapon with frost on it for this kind of encounter. You seem to have one, so this shouldn't be too much of a problem. Freeze her before she gets a chance to do anything.
