i dont know what happened but when i changed my hero weapon to a 2 hand or a 1 hand weapon or even a bow an crossbow the damage stays the same why is that?

Are you referring to the damage range listed in the stats pane, or the actual damage done to opponents?

If you remove the weapon entirely, does the damage listed/done drop?

If you start a new game and try a couple weapons, does the damage change?

Did you install the patch? Some re-release versions of the game may already be updated to the latest 1.0034A version, as shown in the bottom right corner of the main menu, so would not need to be patched.
