Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks mardaneus and george's murder

i defeat the vampire around the same time that i gather the council of 7 - so when i do see mardaneus i should be able to tell him about george's murderer - - - however, it never comes up, it must have slipped my warrior's mind. now i can't solve the george's murder quest.

why? anyone else have this?

Did you refuse to get George the Drudanae herb at the start of the game? That will break the murder quest, even if you later bring him his fix. Did you go through all of the speech options with the vampire?

You have to complete this quest before you start to assemble the council of 7. Otherwise Mardaneus will not discuss George's murder any more.

*note*
If you play a new game with Version 1.34 this Bug is solved. Also you can speak with Mardaneus about the murderer, if he is already in the council of 7.

ahhh, with all thos things to consider -

even if it isn't possible because i am ow forming the 7, i didn't bring him the drudanae - i thought, "support your own habit, george" nad look what happens, eve aftr he dies i can't help. but i was given the mission.
