Discuss Beyond Divinity's features

I am assuming this post belongs here.

I used the method for starting a new game with stronger characters (which can be found at Actiontrip.com's Beyond Divinity Cheats) and instead of going for a small stat boost I decided to get bold and go all out.

I edited my beginning stats so that all stats were 1000 (one thousand). I know this seems a bit much but I was curious. In doing this i decided to also play the game on the easiest difficulty to see how my stats would effect gameplay.

I was acquiring weapons and items that were very advanced for Act 1 and probably would not be found until around end of act 2 start of act 3 (most items were lv4 or 5).

When I acquired the first BF key in the game i instantly teleported myself there and upon entering the 3rd lv of the first dungeon I was suprised to find that instead of on giant spider to beat I was faced with 2 lv 15 spiders and 1 lv 23 stone gargoyle lol. do you think that this is because of my insane stat boosts. could the game have picked up on how strong i was and attempted to compensate for them?

This post doesnt really have a point per say other than to let people know what I experienced with such insane stats and to ask about the BF dungeon.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

BF quest items and monsters are placed randomly on the third levels of the dungeons, so it is possible for any particular dungeon to have none, one or multiple items or boss monsters. Since there are only 3 dungeons in the act 1 BF and 5 quests, it is not out of the ordinary to get 3 boss monsters at once.

The level of the monsters, however, was likely influenced by your stats. The level of the DK Patrols in the citadel, for example, will be higher if you clear out the surface and first dungeon in the BF to level up your characters. Apparently the game takes your stats into consideration, rather than just the character level, to account for boosts from permanent potions and maybe equipment. Since item quality also is effected, I would guess that the game calculates an 'effective level' from your stats, to use in gameplay balancing.
