Ok look at this image http://www.grim-designs.com/images/Strange.jpg Can anyone tell me what this strange little orage this is in the picture? I have noticed it above the heads of certain monsters within the game thus far. It is only above certain monsters though and once i kill the monster the little orange object just sits there. I can't click on it or do anything so I figured it is nothing special but I wanted to look into it.

Anyone know what it is?

It shows that they have cast a spell on themselves. It will stay there for the duration of the spell and then fade away...

You will also notice that some mages will cast spells on you later on.... where you see the spell signs (that orange "logo") at your feet or head. In the earlier stages i saw the spell effects before i got to see the mages casting them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for the info. I must have missed that when looking through the manual and strategy guide (which by the way has been invaluable in my playing of the game lol)

I have played this game to death and back already... (it takes my mind off things in real life), and even now, i still take the strategy guide and make sure that i havnt missed a mission (and the last time i played, i discovered a mission in act3 that i NEVER did before <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />)

I dont recall the strategy guide saying anything about spell pictures when you cast it... but when you start messing with wizardry, you will notice it soon enough.
