Hi!!, to those DD Veterans, what weapon can you recommend during level 28, i have a nobleman's sword with (2)frost,(3)stun,(3)lightning,(1)deathblow is it good enough or i should save/load to find other attributes better than this one..

Thanks.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

How much damage does the sword do? The bonus skills are about as good as you are going to get. Actually, they may be too good; I briefly used a weapon with Frost on it, but found it made the game too easy, so reverted to my previous sword.

There is one potential problem. Mixing any two of Frost on a weapon, Stun on a weapon and the passive Stun skill can sometimes result in creatures hanging in mid death animation, and not dropping items or giving experience. An area effect spell that doesn't need a target, such as Hell Spikes, can force the animation to end. Some people also reported that waiting a bit or sleeping would also work.

Below are a couple of the best one handed swords I used, to give you an idea of what is possible. I was primarily looking for high damage.

Nobleman's Sword

Durability 12
Charm Quality 3
Damage 71-100
2 Strength
4 Agility
6 Constitution
60 Magic
Life Drain(4)
Stun(5)
lightning Damage(5)
Spiritual Damage(4)

Sword Of The Gods - found in wastelands (the final area of the game). DeathBlow shakes the screen; had this happened more frequently, I would have had to re-load a previous save.

Durability 24
Charm Quality 1
Damage 71-100
4 Strength
6 Agility
6 Intelligence
4 Constitution
4 Offense
100 Vitality
60 Magic
DeathBlow(3)
LifeDrain(5)

Wahhhh!!!(sorry)that sword does really have a good damage at all. For me, I wanted that attributes but i cant do anything because i wanted to have the thing that i posses not going back or save/load just to get a good one, and i think that's not challenging(replacing wat you have just to get a better one, just rely on what you have now, heheh...), by the way, is Divine Divinity 2 coming???(can't resist the pun..)cant wait.

Thanks for that.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

Before hitting the gong, the Nobleman's Sword is just about the best weapon you'll find in the game. Especially if it has frost.

I had a bow that did 169 damage, no sword matched that.

You'll still have The Sword of Gods to rely on, so I'd acually pick the amulet. But that's just me.

So, Kardel, you play a lot of DotA? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

I found that the Amulet from the holy quest has bad stats compared to the one where the character who cursed the abbey is (unless it's just me). I also find that the best sword of the gods and noblemans swords I get are pretty much equal. btw I agree that frost makes the game too easy, and it should have considered spiritual resistance as the spell.

[color:"orange"]by the way, is Divine Divinity 2 coming???[/color]

Yes, someday. Larian has mention some of the tools they are using to build the game engine (see the Announcements forum), but not much is known about the game itself (it will have a multi-player component). Until they start releasing details, it is probably safe to assume the game is at least a year from being complete. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for that advice guyz..I really sometimes play DOT-A Allstars in the cafe instead of here, because my friends want me to join them, and i really have a lot of fun, but.... this game could not match the wonderful game of DIVINE DIVINITY, it's really challenging.

By the way, may you inform me sooner when the game will be realease.

Thanks! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

No official date is released (in fact officially we don't even know it's DD2 we're talking about). So you'll have to check out this site from time to time to see if any news has been anounced <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />.

It depends: Against strong creatures without range and spells bow is better. Otherwise I choose sword. Also the stronger your hero becomes the better sword becomes.

Doesn't the same go for bows?

If you keep upgrading your agility, yes.
