Hey,i have made a new character,a survivor.I play on normal,i'm lvl 5 or 6 don't remember... and the first gardian to the next lvl (on the lvl to slacher) in the catacombs kills me on one cut whit he's axe... to go upp more lvl's i need to go out side the village and kill orcs but i should not need that would I? I don't got so verry good armour but anyway....

Hmmm, maybe you could get a bow and do some hit-and-run.

Rather than trying to get Slasher right away, you could head to level 3 and come back later. The guardian for Slasher is rather tough, but depending on the equipment you have found it is possible to defeat him without leveling up outside. That said, there is nothing wrong with heading outside (don't go too far south) if you are having trouble. Some people leave Aleroth to level up before even entering the catacombs.
