Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems Entering the Academy

I'm running windows XP...fully updated, and have played BD until the beginning of Act IV. I have been teleported to the front of the Academy. There is supposed to be (according to walkthroughs), a cut scene with a ghost and someone else, and then accessibility to the Academy.
THE CUT SCENE NEVER APPEARS...and I am locked out!
Anyone have any idea on how I can get that cut scene to trigger? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/question.gif" alt="" />

The cutscene should be triggered when a mutant there is defeated. You can walk on the lava around that island, so it may have wandered off, or something (it should be fairly close to the spot you are teleported to, though).

If the mutant is missing, someone else ran into this problem, and there is a fix;
ACT IV - You will probably need the patch installed for this, if you don't already have it.

Raze: Thank you for your help. I re-installed patch 1.47 and things worked fine.

I have been trying to get though the door as well, its locked there is no mutant and ive looked all over the lava, plus i can go into open black parts, no am i stuck?

Did you try (re)installing the patch? If that doesn't help you should be able to use the fix in this topic.
