Well you see even if it is noobish dont be ashamed <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> All you have to do to trade some items is to of course hit the trade button, and it shall show you a list of your items and his items, see now if you have a lot of junk that you dont need nor want just click on the item and it will transfer to a second blank bar, and the top of that bar showing a number of how much you have on your side, now if you do that to his side you will see the same thing happen, all you must do is continue doing this till your done, but you either have to have more of a price than him or the same, as you can see im TERRIBLE at explaining things so here:
You: 2343
Trade Person: 2500
lets say that this is the situation after you have finished putting items on the board you either have to match his price of 2500 or have over it then hit enter or the checkmark, pretty simple but confusing... i should know.... i hope that helped because i cant explain it any other way..... *man im terrible....*
