Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems CANT LOAD!!!

1 out of 5 times, when i die and go to load my profile again, it wont let me load ANYTHING! whats wrong?!? and 2 of the same 5 times, it closes my game...

Do you mean the hotkeys L / Ctrl-L / Esc do not trigger the appropriate function so that you can load a save, or that the game starts to load one but crashes?

After you restart the game (perhaps after rebooting and shutting down all non-essential programs), do you still have problems with the saved games loading?


Troubleshooting Tips (& manual install procedure)

It pulls up the load saved game screen just fine, but when i get there, I can't click one to load, it wont highlight one. And other times when I DON'T have this problem, the game crashes.

and now i cant EVEN load my warrior!! it says this is an old saved game that is not compatible with this version of divinity... if I uninstall and reinstall the game, will it fix it? and if so, will my files still be saved on it?

This is the first time I've heard of not being able to select a save to load. Can you get into the options, etc from the main menu? If so, do you still have a problem going back to the load window?

no, i explained(tried to anyways) whats going on in my other thread.

Do you have enough disk space free ? Most of my problems I had myself resulted from that.
