Armadillo--I used to have one in my yard--I haven't seen him for a couple of years.
Whitetail Deer--Loads of these. I've had up to a dozen at a time in the yard. They eat everything and you can't keep a garden unless you put a fence around it--which is a good excuse not to have to tend a garden.
We don't get much rain and it is a dry place. There is a creek 50 feet from my house which is totally dry most of the year. When there is a heavy rain it becomes a raging torrent.
