My brother installed the demo on his laptop and played it briefly while I was there. It uses wasd for movement and jk plus various combinations for attack; at least in the demo the keyboard controls can not be changed. I wasn't impressed by either the gameplay or (especially) the combat system, so didn't bother trying it myself. I was going to see if a gamepad would help any with the controls, but by the time I got around to finding mine my brother had already uninstalled the demo.
