There's a chest before you get to the weapon that's slightly hidden by what appears to be grass. My cursor shows that there's stuff inside. The only problem is getting to the chest. I saved before trying anything. I put one of the teleporter stones down & then threw the other one onto a rock close to the chest. I was able to open the chest & find 9 trap material, 1 minor healing potion & a skull belt that requires ID6. I went to BF to ID the belt. It's not that great. Worth only about 1800. The only problem is, now I'm stuck on that rock. When coming back from BF, it brought me back to that rock. The teleporter stone is slightly invisible now & I can't pick it up/put it in my pack/touch it. So my ? is, is there any other way to get the items in the chest or do I need to just forget about it?

Is this the chest hidden in an alcove in a northern wall, so it looks like it is almost part of the wall? I tried similar things to what you did, with pretty much the same results.

If you use a summoning doll, it should appear away from you, and not get stuck in the rock. You can then select the doll as leader and use it to enter the BF and then exit, getting your characters out. I don't know if your teleporter stone will then be visible and reachable, but it can't hurt to try.

If you reload, you may be able to collect a few crates (etc) and use the armory trick in act 1 procedure to force a summoning doll to appear close enough to the chest to be able to open it (summoning dolls can not open trapped containers, but IIRC that shouldn't be an issue here).

Thanks Raze. I hadn't used the dolls up until now. The armory trick took awhile, but it worked. I didn't have to go to the BF. I just had the doll open the chest, pick up the items. Then I moved them from the doll to my other characters. Then had my DK walk out of the dungeon. Since I had him as the lead, my other character appeared next to him & the doll went back into the inventory.

Dolls are at least handy as mules; with the latest patch installed (or in an already updated re-release version) they can carry an unlimited amount of weight (not being able to move when over-encumbered isn't a big deal for a summoning doll). They can also be used to trip area effect traps, though can not open trapped containers.
The act 1 skeleton doll is the only one which can equip a ranged weapon (crossbow), so could provide support for tough fights, as long as it was kept out direct conflict with opponents.
