Talked to Trevor and found the warlocks house in Verdistas, but cannot open the hatch to the cellar. Went back to the Council of Seven to find Zandalor and the door into the statues is sealed up and I still have to find Goemoe and the dwarf. My guess: You started the game with a version prior to 1.33, and your saves became corrupt after installing the 1.33 patch between 22nd April and 1st/2nd May. The new patch, though the description has not been updated brings the game to 1.34, but all 1.33 saves are corrupt.

I don't understand this response. Are you saying that I need to follow the steps from Raze when I am WAY past this point and start over again? In that case I ought to just restart the game since this is at the beginning. Or should I download the patch, but that doesn't seem like it will fix the corruption.

Or should I go into a hex editor, I assume one comes with the game?

Looking at the fixes you supplied links for, I tried the Raze's copy the data.000 and save then copy back. It did not fix the problem with the scrying room door sealed shut so I cannot speak with Zandalor nor how to get into the basement of cornelius's house in Verdistas to rescue Goemoe.

I attempted to use the HEX editor solution, but there are no coordinates with either the scrying room or cornelius's basement so that doesn't appear to work for me either.

The explanation is fine, but where do I go to find what version of patch I did download? I don't see a patch that is marked the fixed patch on your website, just the patch I downloaded.

So maybe you can give me the coordinates for the scrying room and cornelius' basement so I can rescue Goemoe and talk to Zandalor. Is there way in the Hex editor to find Zandalor's exact location?

The catacombs fix post will let you drop a teleporter stone in various locations, so you can restore the original data.000 file and teleport past the closed door, hatch, etc. The hex editor post will let you teleport anywhere. Both are work-arounds for this problem, but do not re-open the closed doors/hatches. To properly fix this, you need to install the 1.34 patch (web site still says 1.33), and re-load a save from before installing the 1.33 patch. Depending of how far back you would have to go (assuming you have a previous save), it may be easier to work around the sealed locations than to re-do part of the game.

Both the coordinates and data files are available for the scrying room and the cellar of the house where Goemoe is imprisoned, in replies to the original posts.

First scry for him. After you know he's in Verdistis, talk to Trevor about the house a warlok rented. Then he'll point you to it. Go to it, defeat the thugs and enter the basement. Thats it. Ofcorse you still have to free him, but i wont spoil more of the fun now.
