Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Patch Identification problem 1.49 shows as 1.47

I have the Australian version of the game, and edited the registry code to "English" show I could install the 1.49 patch. This was on a fresh installation, there were no save games.

This all went OK, and the game runs fine, but both the game and my saves show as being 1.47 instead of 1.49.

Is this a known issue with this patch, or just something triggered by the edit I did? Does anyone know if this causes any problems later on? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/question.gif" alt="" />

This is normal. There were no changes to the game itself between the 1.47 and 1.49 patches, so the game version was not updated. If you can start the game without the play CD, then the Starforce copy protection was removed and the 1.49 patch installed properly.
