A while ago I was on the guildwars website, and they were releasing a new expansion or something (this was a while ago) and I realized that they had contests for names of bosses, for like names of places, and the highest rated would get picked for the game, and there was no copyright exclusion.. Cant Larian do that O.o..?

Rated by who? A bunch of suggestions that the Larian writers and character designers could draw on might be a good idea (though they may have most of the geography and main story created already). Set up as a kind of popularity contest, though, even if it produces great results, they may not necessarily be consistent with the rest of the game (which we know almost nothing about).

AFAIK they can do this if they wish (they solicited suggestions for monster types awhile ago, for example). They would probably have to check submissions for copyright issues before using them, though.

Thank you, I was just saying after I read those countless attempts to have a thread suggesting many ideas and the possibility of them being in the game, which you answered something like, Copyright issues to.. That this is just an idea and would surely bring more people into the game, in addition to those people who the people here already introduced.

The idea of the creators allowing and giving me a chance to show off what may be their next new masterpiece encourages me to play the game, but then again, I cant speak for everyone else O.o
