I've been using Geoff in Ars Magicana as my main merchant since he has the most gold. I have traded quite a lot with him, but I've noticed that his inventory never refreshes after many game days. The other merchants around him have reloaded theirs at least three times (maybe more) and Geoff still has his old inventory plus all the stuff I've sold him. Any way to get him to reload his? Thanks.

Are you sure his old inventory is the same? Most NPCs reset their inventory after about 10 to 15 minutes real time (depending on the NPC). As you found, NPCs can hang on to some of the stuff that you sell them, which stays at the top of their inventory list. Perhaps once they collect a certain amount of stuff they stop resetting the remainder of their inventory?

In any case, if you buy back all the stuff he is hanging on to (or trade it for charms, etc) he should start resetting his inventory again. Alternately, you can trade more with Blake, or wait until you get to the Dark Forest (if you have not been there yet) and trade with the smith and his assistant in the Dwarven halls.

The old stuff of his never reloaded. Funny thing was his gold amount would. I guess I just overloaded poor ol' Geoff with all the junk I sold him! I got a really nice weapon last night (two handed claymore with +3 life drain, 3 charm slots and two other bonus stats), so I won't be needing anything more from him anyway. I have his disposition to 100 for selling and that's the important thing.
