Hi there,

I am by the graveyard, where Jake holds the woman prisoner, and after going into the pit where Jake is, I cannnot save. If I try and quicksave, nothing happens, if I try and save from the main menu - the save button is untouchable. I have restarted the game, restarted the computer, tried to delete older saves, nothing works - and the quicksave in my list of saves, is way back in the game. And I finally got at level 11 ... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

Help!

And please - not anything with reinstall and starting all over ...

It's not a bug, just complete the quest and you should be able to save again.

So it is actually a part of the game? Like entering the pit hold a "hidden curse" ???? or does it do like this other places in the game???

IIRC, this is the only place you can not save. Technically you are in the middle of a cutscene (when saving is normally disabled), which finishes when you reach the end of this small area and meet Jake again.
