HI!:D When escaping from the dungeon after being kicked out of the castle, I decided to go down to the second level (yeah, where all the bad guys are, and yes it is on hard, and I'm only level 25 so lots of save loading). I discovered an area where I walk through a wall into the pitch blackness of the map.

I have found absolutely 0 rooms, have been able to walk outside of the walls of normal rooms, and I can get back to the place I entered.

I am assuming this is a clipping issue, a spot in the wall that was accidently removed or never clipped right.

Or is there a secret passageway to a special area I do not know about?

There are no secret passages on the second level of Iona's dungeon. It sounds like a clipping issue, though I don't recall anyone mentioning gaps large enough to walk back and forth through freely.

Iona's dungeon maps: level 1, starting cell level and levels 2-4

Sometimes there can be gaps in the north west corner when 2 wall meet, large enough to talk to someone on the other side (if you stand in the right place), and maybe toss a teleporter stone through. There are also rare pathfinding glitches that can have your character jump through a wall.

ok ty just making sure! I can send you the screen shot if you got an email addy, but it's probably meaningless right now so nevermind. It's a pretty large gap. It's on the east wall and I think it's an absense of wall segment which might've been forgotten or purposely removed to prevent some other error (I remember doing the same thing with some of my wc3 maps that messed up).

My email address is in my profile (divineone@shaw.ca). Alternately, you could upload the screenshot to a site like RapidShare or Megaupload, and post the link.
