The game tells you: ~ 'To scan the area hold down the shift key and move the cursor to the edge of the screen'. Well, about 50% of the time this works and it comes in very handy. But the other 50% it stays in a permanently 'shifted' mode after I do it. What I mean is, without holding the shift key, it scans/scrolls away from your character just by moving the cursor to the edge. It doesn't 'move the screen' with your character as she moves like it's supposed to do in normal play (no shift key). This will not fix itself until I re-boot the game. This is much more annoying than it sounds, as when you teleport, the screen just stays right where you were and you are 'long gone' to the other stone. Anyone else have this problem? I have a pretty normal CPU config with plenty of memory and an nVidia 7800GS graphics card. I doubt this is the problem (my computer), because when I played this game when it first came out (think it was ~2002) I had the SAME problem (totally different computer). I have everything turned all the way up in the graphics area and it runs smoothly. I really want to use this feature (shift key), but at the moment it's not something I want to risk anymore. Is there a particular way to set things in the configuration file to fix this? Please, someone, *help*.
Thanks.
