I read somewheres in this forum which is extremely huge lol that you should equip both of your Ancient Pyramids in your inventory. Next - for the the first shop keeper (the old wizard guy in ars(i dunno if this works because i have yet to try it) but i read to throw one of the pyramids into the other room that he teleports you out of. Finally use the pyramid you still have and bingo yer in. (i still have to do it so hope it works). Next for the other shopkeeper, (the potion guy in ars) do the same thing, open the door, get as close as possible without summoning the gaurds because you've invaded his privacy, throw it in there, now its just my humble opinion but close the door after you throw it in there, then use the reminaing one.

Kistandalius: Pay the minstrel outside the shop to recite some poetry; the mage will come out, giving you a short, one-time-only chance to grab the spell book off the table in the back room and get the knife from the chest. Save first. You may also be able to use Telekinesis, perhaps with Wizard's Sight. Do not toss a teleporter stone in the back room; you will not be able to get it back.
The Alchemist: Open the door, the mage will close it. Open it again, toss a teleporter stone in and close the door. Then teleport in.

Yes, this is safe to use on the potion guy. For most merchants, you can turn into a spider and chase them out of their shops, then loot it before they return. Mages can use their special move to swap places with a merchant to get him out of view. However, Kistandalius will teleport you out of his back room even if he can not see you.

Looting the back room in the mage shop: you just have one chance: Give the poet staning outside money, he'll recite a poem, the mage comes out and you can rush in, grab the dagger in the chest and the spell book. Alchemist back room: Well, FlaminMonkey described it, already <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> ![[Linked Image]](http://kiya1.via.t-online.de/images/Div_Alchem.jpg) Kiya
