How in the hell do you beat the dragon rider in the imp castle? He is so difficult and even I am having trouble with my reasonablly levelled warrior. The lizards with him beat me down and he just shoots me up real bad. Any tips?

It helps if your fire resistance is at least 100. You'll also be able to use freeze on the dragon rider. If your fire resistance is not up, try using emmbrace shadows or fade from sight to confuse Rak Sheen. Have a plentiful supply of restoration potions with you.

freeze is a must. skeletal wall also helped me a lot.

I just walked up and whacked him a few times. If you approach slowly, you can draw off all of the lizards, then take on the dragon rider by himself. I was trying to loot before entering the next room once, and they kept wandering over 1 or 2 at a time.

scorpions worked for me there *inno* , one point in deadly gift haven't dissapointed me so far :P First time i died one shot from his fire breath (it in fact looked the same as the first dragonrider scene with zandalor) , i stood no chance myself :P
