Long time forum reader but I'm a first time poster. I would just like to send my thanks to the supportive team behind Divine Divinity--one of (if not) the worst RPG titles and yet one of the best RPG games (as well as the best supportive team I have ever encountered). Best supportive community bar-none. So thank you, Raze, Kiya, Macbeth, Dad, and everyone else I forget to mention. Thank you everyone.
Questions (I've studied the forums, but would appreciate active links and answers to my questions in this late day and age.)
I'm a level 30 warrior. Have no problems with my skills or defeating opponents, just the completion of quests.
1.) Sword in the Dark Forest -- I can kill the ghost that resurrects after I retrieve the sword, but he continues to respawn. How can I kill this ghost indeffinitely to retrieve the sword in the stone?
2.) The haunted abbey. I have read the forums, and have no problem getting to the basement, but upon doing so I am faced with two locked doors, neither of which I am able to pick (I belive I am level 5 lock pick at this point). I have retrieved a golden key, but it does not seem to open any of the doors in the basement.
3.) The whores in Verdistis. Whenever I walk into the tavern, I am encountered by the pair of brethren trying to score with prostitutes. Now, I have already triggered the scene with the upset towns' wife. How do I unite the horny (and, apparrently, partially retarded) brothers with the oldest job in civilization?
So, this is a long post, with multiple subjects, and I'm sure it breaches some protocol. Regardless, I would like to thank the Divine Divinity community, of which I am a late-comer. This hands-down falls in my top ten greatest games of all-time (I just wish to get the most out of it). So please respond with some form of decency, even if it is just links to previous posts I was unable to locate. I can't wait for the probable Divine Divinity 2 (they should still change the names of this game) arriving on Xbox 360, and plan to be a forerunner if and whenever that event occurs. I would also like to state, that as an American, most of the Divine Divinity supporters speak English better as a second language than most in my experience (including myself) speak it as a first and only.
Thank you everyone,
Aphex Twin
