I'm based in the UK and if it wasn't for the fact that I played DD1 years ago the PC I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have a clue this game was coming out. Admittedly I will probably be picking up an Xbox copy this time round (unless a linux friendly version is released wink ). I regularly pick up various publications but have not heard a whisper or seen a single screen shot. Is this to do with the lack of a UK publisher? It seems a shame that this lack of exposure might affect sales, as from what I have seen on YTube it looks a fine game. Any money money left over from development, I suggest a Hollywood worthy 3min advert at prime time viewing biggrin

Welcome back to the forums hehe

Hi I'm also based in the UK,

Theres no media coverage in the UK and other English Speaking territories.
Due to a Publisher not being announced yet for the International Release.
We should be hearing more news on this in the coming weeks and hopefully
then the advertising campaigns can start!
In the mean time check out some of the threads in this side of the forums
and read opinions of some of our German friends tell us about the game wink
Just sit tight and admire what we know so far.

Sadly, we have to sit and wait patiently (riiighttt, i have paced a groove in my floor already)

When they announce the publisher, the veil of silence will finally be lifted smile

Thanks for that DG. I still find it strange that some magazines have not even reported on its existence. Legal stuff I don't understand I suppose. Seeing as the game is coming out in September it seems like there won't be much time to get any sort of advertising campaign going with any momentum. Really looking forward to it though and it is easily my most anticipated release of the year.

Theres been several sites that have posted there impressions of the game from E3.
Such as Gamespot just keep an eye on major gaming websites they'll be the ones most likely to have
news on Divinity 2.
Its up to the Publisher to do marketing, maybe If they had a solid Publisher announced from the start they could had started marketing already, I'm sure there will be marketing nearer release.
Wait until GamesCom in Mid August for hopefully lots more details.
