Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems save game transfer?

i just loaded this game on to my new computer, and i used to play on my brother's comp. i tried to copy the files on to a CD and transfer them over, but every time i try to load a game it crashes. any suggestions? thanks in advance!

Remove the read-only attribute from the files (select all files in Explorer, right click, Properties).

Check the Read-only flags on the files! If you used a copy of the savegames from a CD, Windows makes them read-only and then the game cant chance it.

Actually, I figured it out. My brother's computer had a patch installed, and I had yet to install it on mine. Works now!
