(again, sorry for the English, my German isn't good enough to try and write - you can reply in German if you please I'll understand)

I'm about 8 hours into the game but there's still plenty of questions that I haven't found the answer to:

- at the start of the game, I sold all my edelsteine and ertze but I wonder now if they have any use?

- I've picked up a lot of formules - how can I use them? Can they be used more than once?

- will I always have to go to people to have potions and other stuff made or will I be able to do this myself later in the game, without the need for other people?

1. Gems and ore are required to enchant (Bezaubern) equipment.
Items have two different slots. "Veredelung" where you put in pre made +X items and "Bezauberung" where you can add enchantments.

2. You can't, but your Alchemist uses them automatically. When you have a new formula in your inventory it is removed and permanently added to the list of potions your Alchemist can make (At least your Alchemist in the Tower. Don't know if you keep the formulas from the Alchemist in teh first area)

3. You have to go to other people. But later you can instantly teleport directly to your alchemist who creates potions with herbs and other plants.

Q: Zu Beginn des Spieles habe ich alle Edelsteine und Erze verkauft und frage mich nun, ob sie noch für irgendetwas gebraucht werden.
A: Erze und Edelsteine benötigst du, um deine Gegenstände bei einem Bezauberer verbesser zu lassen. Es ist aber nicht allzu schlimm, dass du deine Edelsteine verkauft hast. Nachdem du den Drachenturm eingenommen hast, wirst du in der Lage sein, Sammler auf die Suche nach neuen Reagenzien zu schicken.


Q: Ich habe sehr viele Formeln eingesammelt - wie kann ich sie benutzen? Können sie mehr als einmal verwendet werden?
A: Formeln für Bezauberungen kannst du zu einem Bezauberer bringen. Du kannst einen in Trümmertal finden und später im Drachenturm gibt es einen weiteren. Sobald du den Bezauberer einmal auf das Bezaubern von Gegenständen angesprochen hast, werden alle noch nicht bekannten Formeln automatisch in deine Auswahl möglicher Bezauberungen übertragen. Ebenso verhält es sich mit Rezepten für Tränke. Du kannst jede Bezauberung so oft verwenden, wie du möchtest. Allerdings kann jede Bezauberung nur einmal auf einen Gegenstand angewendet werden. Du kannst also beispielsweise nicht zweimal Lebenslinie auf denselben Gegenstand zaubern.


Q: Muss ich immer zu jemand anderem gehen, um Tränke und andere Dinge herzustellen oder kann ich das später im Spiel auch alleine?
A: Nein, du wirst immer die Hilfe eines Alchimisten benötigen, um Tränke herzustellen, genauso wie einen Bezauberer zur Verbesserung deiner Gegenstände.
Nur Veredelungen können vom Spieler selber angebracht werden.

Aaah. I take it you need another person to do this? The same way you make potions?

Thanks for the reply it helped me a lot. Nearly all these questions are because I got such a limited space and no way to store my items yet.

Yeah, the infamous space problem.
You will get a storage space when you get the tower, but that takes a while.

And yes, for enchanting you need another person (also easily reachable by teleport in the tower). But there is also one in the first area somewhere.
