Well i finaly, after trying both a warrior and a mage, discoverd that i liked the survivor. I was doing well.. at an early level i discoverd how powerful hell spikes could be, then moved on the the amazingly effective damage/mana ratio that a properly aimed deathly disk can pull off.. i was really feeling nice and happy.. sure my melee was kinda crappy, but it was still the best way to deal with 1 or 2 enemies.. Everyhthing was perfect, i was a balanced melee/mage omni-person.
Then it happend. One day i was just wondering along enjoying the scenery when suddenly out of nowhere.. something attacked! It took more than half my life in a single hit! i quickly hit pause, healed myself, then ran away. It chased me, and not being one to just run away i spent every single mana and rejuve potion i had trying to blast it from a distance.. nothing worked, my hellspikes where to slow for it... my deathly disks did about 1 damage. This was wrong! I was invincable! This thing can NOT defeat me!!! In rage i put a point into deadly gift, and made a scorpion. Who quickly solod it while i wached.
Blinded by power i ravaged the landscape killing EVERYTHING, all manner of beast and insect fell to the undeniable power of the scorpion, all across the face of the land i went and all that did not submit was snuffed. finaly all had fallen, i had beaten every living thing into submision, i was invincable! and i had 3 immortal scorpions following me. Then i realised there was nothing left to kill.. I sank into a deep, deep depression. What had happend to my wonderful melee/mage? The simple joy of gathering a large group of orcs about me and smiteing them all with 2 casts of hell spikes? Now im just leeching off of scorpions. But what to do? There is no divine death for me, there is no summon demonic aid, there is no melee master spell slinger kill everything in a combined graceful swipe. There are only the scorpions. All i am can be bought at the local thief merchant for 200 gold and change. What have i done? How could this have happend? And how could i ever go back now? Such an awesome force - a hollow force but i do not care! - A whole new level of existance, after tasteing this nectar even the sweetest of the rest would be as vinegar!
