i am stuck at the very beggining of the game. when i enter the catacombs (to help that silly old wizard who is possesed) i get down a few levels and i come across a mossive skeleton that always kicks my [nocando]. Ive tried leveling up outside but the Orcs also kick my [nocando], any help on leveling up in the first town would be nice

What level are you? My mage was level 7 when i entered the catacombs. my warrior was level 4 when he entered. Also. in the Catacombs is a statue (where you meet the orcs who want the slasher axe), the statue offers a guy named Gregor Brock, an old body gaurd of hers who failed her long ago. In turn she cursed him to be forever bound to the next traveler and protect him/her through his/her travels in the catacombs. I suggest you get him to help you.

have you solved all of the other quests in the first town?

healing gems, george's drudenae, get the second teleporter pyramid, etc.

those should give you enough experience to get going in the catacombs (provided you spend your points wisely)

how the hell do you activate the second teleport pyramid quest?

Lanilor gave you one pyramid (misc inventory)? Then drag&drop it on the ground and click on it - take care: fight. After you've survived, drag&drop this one into your inventory.

There are two ways:
1. Use the other pyramide.
2. Just fight your way down to lvl 4 or 5 of the catacombs and inone of the side room is the pyramide.

But be warned! It is surronded by skelton archers. To low lvl could be suicide.

The way i defeated him was to use my metorstrike from a distance - keep running away from him, and shooting from the distance. If you are not a mage though...i can't help. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
He is tough, took me a couple tries.

first i'd like to say you should be at least level 5+ with ne character before venturing in the catacombs. You can be level 1 and still enter and complete the catacombs (not advised) but it would take up alot of time to do so. Secondly. with any character male/female any class. just get gregor to help ya out, his arse is strong. Be warned though he dies quite easily so make sure you put in yer fair share of combat.
