Hey, I was looking at the system requirements and I was hoping someone who has the game could assist.

I have a 2.4ghz E6600 duo Core processor with 4 GB of ram and an Nvidia 8800 GTS.

I just meet the listed requirements, will I be able to enjoy the beautiful world or will I need to have the graphics turned low to play smoothly?

I’m curious if I should save up for a upgrade before this sweet game is released in Canada =)

Thanks for any input,

-Jon

Another one asking whether his porsche car will be able to drive on the outback town's streets ?

I'll never understand why people who are very much above the basic requirements still ask whether their machines are able to run the game. It's a phenomenon I see on all gaming forums all over this world.

I was curious because the Min requirements for this game are about the same as my pc, (E6600 and 8800GTS are old) I like to run games in max setting (or close to it) to get the full effect.

Well, but 4 GB of RAM is nowhere near the minimum requirements.

The other points will match it, as far as I know.

The main thing you shouls also be aware of is how much VRAM your viodeo card has.

With 256 it is manageable to play it, but with more it is better.

As above, but the 8800GTS comes in a 320MB and 640MB flavour, and you can get ones that are factory overclocked, too. Do you know which you have and what resolution you'll be playing at? My last card was an eVGA 8800GTS 640MB superclocked and I was able to max out settings at 1920x1200 for most games (I've since upgraded to a GTX 260 Core 216). You should be fine with mid to high settings, but then again some people are more sensitive to framerate drops than others. I'm one of the less sensitive, I think.
