Hallo zusammen,

Also @Lariam:

The game was sent to a hardware compatibility lab that is specialized in testing on different setups. Of course, they cannot test on every combination possible, but I am sure they tested more than just Intel wink

Thanks for the tip about the AMD CPU optimizer and AMD Prozessortreiber though, I will add it to the "Erste Hilfe" post.

fair enough smile
didn't want to sound rude, it just seems weird that such a big thing is not found in alpha / beta. maybe its just a special batch of AMD cpus that has this problem, but looking through the forums, my setup is definately not the only one with this problem.

anyway, i restarted my game from before Wächterinsel, so i'm off to play again. guess i'll choose the woman this time if that lets me continue playing smile

Not rude, inquisitive smile So maybe all AMD machines already had these apps installed? smile We don't know _all_ the details of these testing rigs, otherwise we'd have included that in a readme / tips section...

my 2 cents: Testsystems tend to be extraordinary and the tools installed for testing make testing itself hard - sounds silly but it's like that sometimes. The normal (casual/nontechnical) gamer has no testing tools, no tuning tools, and barely knows what this graphic card driver can do - and he does not want to know. And that's ok.

So it is not easy for game developers. But I had really a huge mix of many problems posted in this forum so it is hard for me to think that none of the harder problems were found by the hardware compatibility lab. I found lots of them without testing. wink

The story, the quests, the german speakers, the world design and the RPG-feeling is great - there were great writers and artists at work! Feel free to compliment them from me. But on the other hand it has a lot of space for technical/graphical improvements. 2-3 monts more work would have been worth it. And that's a pity.

but i really do appreciate how active the developers (and the other users of course) are in this forum, at least you don't feel all alone with your problems thankyou
