Easy: he didn't want to get eaten in the dragon lair. His skin stayed green, his legs shrunk and the fang grew

thats why i usually click "show all" i've got a rolly button on my mouse so scrolling is no big deal for me

You can change the number of shown posts in your profile. Go to your display preferences and scroll down to:

"Total posts to show on one page when viewing a post in flat mode (default is 10)"
This is the amount of posts shown in each thread. Set it to 25 to have the old forum's behavior back. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Or more if you have a fast connection. Above that one is:

"Total parent posts to show per page: (default is 10)"
This is the number of "topics" that are shown on a forum page. 25 seems to be a good number here, too.

Thanks Arhu. I haven't taken the time to read very much yet - I planned to do that when everyone else was sleeping. I didn't think the posts were 'popping' to the top of the lists either, but they are - they just take a little while.
