As the topic suggests - will there be a DLC and what would you like to see in it?
Maybe this time we'll be werewolfs/vampires/Werepyres/DRACOPYRES(May be copyrighted already)

I'm tired of DLC. Time to get back to real expansion packs that add something of substance instead of little bits and pieces.

I agree. I am tired of DLC. In fallout 3 for example there are what 5 DLC packs costing you more than the original game and I got CE (just felt I had to have my vault boy bobblehead haha). But DLC is done to make more money and that is why it will more than likely continue. This game is great and I would much rather see a great expansion and spend $20-30 than some 5-10 hr DLC that doesn't really advance the story.

Larian hasn't ever done this. They usually just patch the bugs that are found and after a break will begin work on the next game.

Provided sales are good (which according to the reviews, sound like they will be) there will be a Divinity 3.

Every time there I run into trouble on the road, there is always a dwarf at the bottom of it. Don't they know how to drive above ground?

Larian started work on DD and BD with relatively small teams, then added a few programmers, then added artists and writers during the course of development. Assuming they are doing well, and actually want to, they could have the programmers start on the game engine for Divinity 3, while the writers and artists, etc work on an expansion.

As for what I would like to see in a hypothetical addition to the game that I don't have yet... access to more of the regions from DD (though obviously they would have changed), contact with any surviving elves, dwarves, etc. Depending on what Larian has planned for Divinity 3, though, this may or may not be feasible.

I'm hoping that what they will do for D3 is similar to what they did with BD. Use the same game engine again for the next game. Other than a few tweaks with combat, it was really nice to play and wouldn't mind seeing it being used again.

Nintendo has been doing it on the Zelda games since Ocarina of Time about 10+ years ago, and they have been very successful.

NO dlc please. If you want, make a classic add-on (I'd like to buy that).

The "same game engine" could also work for D3. It'll also look good enough in two years if it gets tweaked somewhat.
