It's "bean" a while, like 4 years, I visited this forum.
Waiting for the release of the new divinity game!
And now I read that the game is already released in Germany! party
Soon I can enjoy the game on my PC, and taste the "blood,sweat and tears" of the Larians they put into the game.
I wish you all the best and Thanks!

It will be another couple months, or so, for the English version (though there is a hack to get English text in the German version of the game). There has not been any official announcement yet; we were hoping for some news during GamesCon (which is half over)...

To be honest after waiting so many years for a sequel like yourself, I really don't mind how long it takes Larian to get the 'rest of the world' version out on the shelves. In my eyes, every extra week that it doesn't appear, is a week spent fine tuning what already looks to be an excellent game. It seems that the developers really take an interest in the forums, so I can only imagine that with all of the feedback provided by the community, many of the bugs and glitches will be ironed out.

Squinty;
I don't mind waiting that much, either. I have to build a new computer to play the game, so if it takes a little longer, maybe the first DirectX 11 cards will be out by then, etc.

DivineGamer;
Thursday and Friday are done; Saturday (just starting) and Sunday are left in GamesCon, so that pretty much makes it half over (assuming the hours it runs each day are similar).

Yeah, I don't like dropping $40-50 on a game upon release, only to find out its buggy as sin.

The longer States-wide version of Divinity 2 stays in the cooker to get more patches and polish behind it, the more likely I'll possibly drop release date kind of $$ on it upon its release.
