I found 3 persons sleeping, a woman and 2 men, talked to the woman the first time, read her mind, gave her an apple and she awoke and answered me ok, gave me some item and stood there... then i went to the second person, talked, read his mind and gave him a healing potion, he awoke but game started to load forever...
I loaded back my save game and went there, but none of them works anymore, they wake up and load don't load...
anyone went thru this before? or better yet, have a solution?

It sounds like a problem with an English hacked version of the game. It happened, though at the beginning, in my first attempt and getting Divinity 2 to run in English.
Every time there I run into trouble on the road, there is always a dwarf at the bottom of it. Don't they know how to drive above ground?

Do you see a DVD icon on the screen? If you do, it means that the game cannot find the file it is looking for.
It was one of my problems with the English hack, though I had it much earlier on in the game before getting off the tutorial section. If it's only that npc that is messed up, just move on. I've only hacked the German version into English for like a demo of it just to play the game. As for serious playing, I'll do what when buy the English version.
Don't ask me how to hack the game into English, I'm not going to discuss that on these forums.

Your post make me think about something... So... The game won't find the file, supposedly, if i unpack the original german language on the same folder that the "hacked" english files are, the game might work... Well, i'll give it a try anyway... P.S.: "Hacked", cause the files r on the installed game folder... edit: =x didn't worked, maybe it's time to try to learn deustch =D

Well this is what worked for me so far. Simply save when that glitch comes up quit game and enter again load that save and it should work.

If quicksave/quickload works as a "fix" for a problem, then said problem is in fact copy protection game has. Stop using NoCD .exe fajl and play with DVD in your drive.

Unfortenately, that doesn't work, only for shrines up till now. Stop using NoCD .exe fajl and play with DVD in your drive. =x I prefer to keep using quicksave/quickload than having my drive occupied all the time i'm playing, it can be used to do various other things while i play ^^

did you quit to windows and then when started again load the quicksave? never failed me and i got stuck twice to those sleeping people in pretty much the same way, and once while talking to a guard patrolling the parapet in the village. when it got stuck each time i saved, quit to window, start the game again, load the quicksave and it worked each time.

If it was just the shrines I'd be playing it. But, from what we know, things that are copy protection fail safes:
- shrines not working - shops/vendors not restocking items - Lv15 4000+ skill points - Lv20 cap - talking to NPCs
Missed something I bet.
I don't mind copy protection as long as it doesn't mess with my game in this way. What if my dvd drive brakes and scratches game DVD? I can't get a new one, sending it back to Germany would cost me money again. Buy new one, money again, not that I won't buy English version. Smart money is in online activation. I buy it, I own it, I can play it. No fear of DVD braking, no game braking copy protection.
