Dear users

I just arrived in Stormfist Castle and received the quest to do the washing of the dishes for the cook. I clicked on the sink and it filled itself with water. Now I tried to drag & drop the dirty dishes over the sink but this doesn't work. Worse when I put the dirty dishes in my inventory I don't get them out anymore.
Can someone explain me if I did something wrong with the sink or why can I not do the washing?




PS: Sorry for double posting, I also posted the thread in the German section of the forum not thinking about that I receive a faster answer in the English section.

Edit: This castle has to be cursed. I even can not do the beer/ale quest of Ben. I have a bottle of Dwarven ale and a bottle of ale in my inventory but can't do the quest. It also doesn't work if I fill the beer mug in the kitchen...

How to wash the dishes (80KB) - in the Stormfist castle kitchen

You should be able to drag and drop the dirty dishes out of your inventory (somewhere there is no red X), or just wash them from there.


For Ben, try removing all non-beer alcohol from your inventory. This quest can also be completed after leaving the castle, talking to him from outside the wall he is standing on.
Did you get the beer from the northern most room on the west side of the main castle (screenshot)?


Posting in the German and English forums is not a big deal, but if you edit your post in the other forum, there is a 'Delete Post' button beside the 'Change Post' and preview buttons, which will remove the topic, as well (as long as nobody replies to it).

I tried this but it doesn't work. I tried it with every possible "Bottle of Ale" in my inventory alone. Frustrating

I got the dishes washed, but the cook said he needed to inspect the dishes. I haven't been able to finish that quest because I don't know how to take the dishes to the cook so that he can inspect them.

Drag the dishes and pots into your inventory, and talk to the cook again.
