yeah, the sandwiches were pretty good laugh
I believe my testing days were a bit early in, but I could even see then that the game would be everything I had hoped it to be. I can only congratulate Larian, and hope that they will be able to use this game to grow and become a top-tier RPG developer. Big ups to the team, and if I ever come back, remind me to bring you all some new yorkers! I had planned to, but my addled mind forgot about them.

Playing it, I´m not far from start (lvl 10 smile .. some downsides, yes, but otherwise, probably best RPG I played for looong time.. )

Downsides:
Static weather, static daytime frown
Graphic - just ok, but on other hand, its pretty fast, but I got strange screentearing sometimes and FPS seems much lower than it is (especially on water, what is refresh rate of water? 10FPS?)

nVidia PhysX - I don´t have nVidia card and I don´t inted to ever buy it.. but I would appreciate "normal" physic in game.. why don´t they just used Havoc? Physic and object blocking and such things are really wierd in this game.. not mentioning pretty strange jumping..

I guess that quest rewards are leveled pretty much as in Oblivion.. I´m not sure I understand that, and neither sure, why its pretty often some crap.. Tough, on other hand, it gives reason to buying something. smile

And it has pretty interesting difficulty curve. laugh I leveled to lvl 10.. than notice, that way I tried to make my char working, isn´t best.. and started again. smile Tough, for second time it was much faster..

Spellcasting way doesn´t seem much usable..

Thats probably all, menu and inventory should work bit faster.. (c´mon I have i7 and its not popping up instantly?). Book reading should be made, so that after reading, you go back to inventory.. Instead of getting out of inventory (and loading inventory again.. blah).

Edit: Why books that are "normal" takes space in inventory? Some kind of virtual bookshelf (eg. what have you found/read.. would be much better).

Yea, inventory.. slooow. And its pretty messy, never heard of automatic sorting?

For now, I haven´t find any hard bugs or something.. so its fine and I enjoy playing it..

I won´t write whats good.. anyone who will play that will know pretty soon.. maybe except one thing I like.. Its game designed for inteligent players.. and I like it. smile

Do you have the 1.02 patch installed? I believe that improved the water animations and changed the book interface (and maybe added an inventory sort function IIRC).

Not sure that I can do that after using certain technique to change language to English. laugh But, I´ll try.. why not..

Lol - patch notes.. I kinda think, is this game even out of beta? laugh Patch 1.2 includes 1.1 which means its around 760MB.. yea.. small one.. eh.

Improvements are nice, but start game again? Good thing is, that I like it.. but not sure that I want to start it again..

Well, I hope it will be stable to play..

Kinda starting to wish that I waited for English version.

I find it also strange, I tested the game ( and i think my fellow testers to) in english, and still no english version for sale? A german and french version yes. Is it not lots off work to develop a game in english and then convert it all to another language?
It would have made more sense if they brought a english version before the rest, or at least a european release.

There is no difference between physics effects in the game on ATI and/or NVIDIA cards.
"Real" physics acceleration not even used (like in Batman AA).
