Nice I like it.
Now I'm sick of seeing CDV how about a UK Publisher?

Looks great, though the guy looks a bit like he's pushing hard to get that constipation out. =)

Who doesn't? grin

Edit: The more I look at it, the less I like it. I don't feel it captures the epic scope of the game, nor the tongue in cheek humor. It's a rather blah, straight on portrait with a dragon swirly and some special effect stuff. Plus that guy, who is he? Doesn't look like anyone I recognize from the game.

People who know of the game, won't mind the art - but there are probably plenty of people who don't know it, and for them it won't be very enticing. I envision something more like the old school paintings by Jeff Easley or Frank Frazetta. In fact, it could never hurt for any fantasy artist to ask themselves: What would Frazetta have done? He certainly wouldn't have made a straight on, static, constipated portrait of some dude. Instead he would have made, at the very least, a dynamic composition.

Considering the high fantasy art direction in the game and the very beautiful females, it couldn't have hurt to include that somehow too.

Meh, but who am I except a long term admirer of fantasy art smile

Why do Americans always get such martialic box covers ? Everything seems to have to be either weapons, or war, or something dark.

Why can't there be such a thing like a world-wide box cover dictated by the developer ?

When you find a big kettle of crazy, it's best not to stir it.

Publisher wanted to change it?
That cover seems to be more suited to the American Market.
