where are the save game files, general look around and can't find a folder

C:\Documents and Settings\your comp name\Local Settings\Application Data\Divinity 2\Savegames


And you need to see hidden files and folders

or in Vista / Win 7

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Divinity 2\Savegames\

XP, all there is is Shaders

So you found the 'Divinity 2' folder in the 'Documents and Settings' folder, but it didn't have a savegames subfolder?

Did you make sure you have hidden and system files visible in Windows Explorer?

Assuming you have more than one user profile, are you logged into the same account you installed/played the game under?
