In Stone's Fortress Greenery you will find a magic fountain. Near it is a book that details a few combos that he "tested", but not their results. However, almost every single combo gives a good result.

You put the buds of two flowers in (you find them in a nearby chest, I think it was locked too), the first bud you put in will always come back out as a full grown flower (which you can take as a normal flower), the second flower bud is destroyed and is replaced with a reward (usually). The order in which you put in the flowers does not affect your reward, only which flower you get back and which is consumed.

Flowers:
O = Oak Tears
B = Black Rose
M = Moon Shine
F = Fanny Blossom
H = Holy Basil

Combos + Rewards:
O+B = Balanced Heavy Shortbow
O+M = Nothing? (As far as I can tell)
O+F = 1000 XP
O+H = 5 Stat Points
B+M = 1 Skill Point
B+F = Nothing (a broom comes out, you cannot pick it up)
B+H = Well Crafted Heavy Iron Axe
M+F = Balanced Light Steel Sword
M+H = Noble Light Normal Hammer
F+H = Noble Light Iron Cleaver

I actually checked the stats on two of the items, they are fairly powerful, but not worth it. Stats or Skill point is best, I am going with the skill point.

I am now sure which flower is better to have though... any suggestions on that?

It doesn't matter at all. Your plant hunter can look for anything. I had him looking for Ginseng and Dragon Nail all the time, and neither of those is in the list. You don't need plants for enchanting, only for potions.

I only have a chests in my enchanter, which I can't open, my trainer and necro, besides how do you put stuff in the chest

the chests don't have anything important in them, its just a little loot.

The chest you can store items in is in your room, near Sassan.

in other words, the only worthwhile rewards here are the skill point or the stat points.

well ginseng was important at first to make some good life potions but once u get higher levels potion enchantements, u will find that another herb is more important.

I will choose the stats bonus cause there are plenty of skill books around.

I would go with skill points if you are lower than lvl 30 although later on you end up with too many. Btw the herbs you get get from the fortress are quests items and can only be used at the fountain.
