Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Key to Lovis's Tower

Good day all,

This may sound retarded but I have no idea how to get into Lovis's Tower. I have looked everywhere in Broken Valley with no luck. Is there something I'm just not doing or a lever somewhere I'm not pulling. Can anyone tell me where the key is? Thanks.

Things like this make an otherwise great game frustrating.

If you mean to get into the lower part of the tower, you need to find the crystal ball, that the priest in the village asks for and use it. Or to get to Lovis himself, you need to climb the tower via the corridors, kill some skellies on the way, climb some ladders and find the door to enter it. It`s open, ofcourse.

But that's exactly my problem! I climbed the ladders where the skellies are and the door there is locked. I dunno, there must be something OBVIOUS that I am missing. But on this note, where is the crystal ball? I can't find that either. I sure feel like a n00b.

Crystal ball is at the very top of the tower.
About the door, i`m not sure. Maybe you missed a lever somewhere.

if i remember right, the crystal is in the top most part of the tower...go up as far as you can via ladders and you will find a few statues that you have to turn into the correct positions to open a gate ...carry on up and you come to a door which you can enter...inside you will see 4/5 small alcoves one of which has a skeleton tradesman in....the crystal i think is located when you pull on 3 or 4 chains inbeded in the walls around the room

yeah, the door you can open is the one highest up, there's another one but that is closed at first.

I had the same problem..

How i dealt with it ? Even if the door is closed.. there s a ledge near the door.

Go left, climb the ladders to the top floor (where the skelly trader is) and jump down to the ledge. There s a handle near the other side of the door that u can use to permanently open it.
