Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Technical problems Artifacts with ATI 4870?

I encounter some artifacts problems with my Ati HD4870. It buggles me a bit cause I have no problems with other games such as Risen, World of Warcraft or Modern Warfare 2. I just updated my drivers and the artifacts still appear. I also checked the temperature of the card and its fine.

The artifacts are just colorful big dots that appear and dissapear here and there, more frecuently in some scenes than others. They are just a little bit annoying but I can still play without major issues.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Ok playing around a bit with the different options I managed to solve the problem by running the game as administrator and disabling the desktop composition. Im using Windows 7 x64. I hope this can help other people with similar issues.

I'm planning on building a new computer in a couple months with the same OS and probably the same video card.
