Greetings fellow forumers

As I first played through the game, it was hard, I only did the main quests so I missed out on so many small events. Quite a shame. So I played it again, just to grab every little quest along the way, it was awesome. With the armour from all those generals my toon can't be killed, not even by the divine in melee.
Thing is though, now that I'm diviner than the divine, everything is dead and I've got nothing left to do but go get myself in the fridge with ol' Lucian.

Never thought to implement repspawns, or at least a toggle-able repspawn option?
Not whole flying fortresses but simple things like the goblins in caves and on roads and such.
Or perhaps the abitily for players to add small things to the game in mods.
I've played loads of RPG-games and such little things keep a game alive, untill an expansion.

Or maybe there already is such a tweak, either way, share your thoughts.

I do not believe it would be prudent. The storyline's over, let it end. I do not need Bethesda modding the game to make it repetitive with enemy scaling and generic loot and boring fetch quests. I understand you want to see more content, we all do... We'll just have to wait for an expansion or a sequel wink

Of course, they could come up with a toolset for modders, but personally, I doubt it. Probably takes too much work.

exclamation exclamation
People in areas where the game hasn't even been released yet would appreciate it if discussion of the end of the game were put in spoiler tags, or not referred to / described directly.

The title 'Respawns and Other Stuff' is fairly generic, and could easily be questions from someone who had not played the game, rather than suggestions after playing.

There are currently only 2 sticky topics in this forum, so they shouldn't be hard to miss:

Aye, sorry bout the spoilers. Will keep it in mind next time.
If there is a next time with all the positive input here =P

That remark that I have to browse the forum for similar post first is nonsense.

The post you link to has nothing much to do with what I'm asking here.
I know some people on forums just have to be annoying but atleast don't refer to a persons post as junk ><

There was some debate in the forum about respawning during development. I don't know if the Larians ever consider respawning, but the general consensus from older forum members (who had been around since DD or BD) was that they would rather not have respawning, or at most have a gradual / natural movement of some types of creatures from hostile areas into the boarders of cleared areas. There was support for respawning, as well, especially from those used to MMOs or simple action RPGs.

Mods have been discussed and requested, but there has been no official word from Larian.
Is it modder-friendly?

Toon is generally a nicer term for the player's character.

A shorter term too, too much chance of mistyping character xD
WoW does leave a certain impact =S
